A quaint and tiny village on Prince Edward Island.

The sun is descending at the conclusion of a perfect day. At the end of the pier is a small round picnic table next to a closed restaurant.

We own the moment.

First there is the wine. "High Bank Red" from the PEI Rossignol vineyards. It is labeled as dry, but we agree it is sweet.

Then there are the handmade chocolates from the village chocolatier. Way beyond delicious.

On the portable music player, Diana Krall. "Let's fall in love, why shouldn't we fall in love".

My companion suggests we rotate to witness the sunset; and so we do. It is full of color and mood.

A Blue Heron near the shore keeps a watchful eye on us. We watch the colors and drink the wine while Diana sings to us.

Perfect, perfect, perfect!

These are the magic moments we long for; so few and far between.

I am blessed to be in the company of the coolest woman on Prince Edward Island. She is elegant, wistful, soulful, and just completely beautiful.

I am the artist and poet savoring the moment and celebrating my wonderful exhibit that afternoon in the village.

This is the best. I will never forget!
